Cobalt RZ/G1E SOM is highly integrated and compact module ideal for low power general embedded, industrial, IOT gateway, Healthcare devices, Network & high vision camera, Home & Office automation and video intensive applications.
The Cobalt RZ/G1E SOM is based on RZ/G1E SoC from Renesas with Dual ARM Cortex A7 thus forms a high-performance embedded processing solution. Incorporated with rich set of features and IO peripherals (DDR3, Audio Codec, eMMC) provides to the user out-of-the box experience.
The Cobalt RZ/G1E SOM is an Off-the-self single board computer that includes all the core components of a common PC. The SOM can be mounted on an application specific designs carrier board. The SOM is plugged into the SODIMM connector on carrier board to spread out its interfaces to RJ45 connector/Magnetics, Audio Codec, USB connectors for OTG and Host, LCD display connector, CMOS sensor connectors.
The carrier board of the Cobalt RZ/G1E SOM is ideal not only as reference for the customer to develop its own custom board but also as a cost effective solution for production.
